Q. Is there a specific look you give to clients?
No, everyone is unique and we thrive on the challenge of identifying the style that best reflects you and fits your life. We also take into consideration the reasons you came to us and will advise on those clothes and accessories that will meet your goals. A client who is in her forties and is wanting to progress in her chosen career will have a different style from a client who is approaching retirement and a change of lifestyle.
Q. I don’t live near Edinburgh, can I still use your service?
Yes, we can offer a service whereby you can visit our office in Edinburgh. Out of town clients can pack up their wardrobe for the day or make a weekend of it. We can do the best bit and wardrobe edit in one day, as well as advising you on the best shops that match you and your style. Alternatively we can come to see you in your home. We've also had clients from overseas who have sent us images of their existing wardrobe, so we can skip straight to personal shopping after their initial consultation. Q. How do I know if my wardrobe needs modernised?
Being objective isn’t always that easy, which is why many people seek out a style consultant. A few indications may be:
- People say you’re looking tired, or misjudge your correct age.
- Many items in your wardrobe are not looking their best.
- You struggle to find your favourite lipstick shade because it’s been discontinued.

Q. What if my budget is small?
That is absolutely fine! We will teach you how to shop discerningly. Costly clothing mistakes will become a thing of the past as we identify your best colours and style. This service will enable you to learn how to mix and match, so you will be able to generate more looks with fewer clothes, and will show you how to find good quality clothes that do not cost the earth.
Q. Where do the consultations take place?
Initial consultations take place at our office in the Marchmont area of Edinburgh. We feel that it is very important that you have the opportunity to step out of your busy life and come to a place that gives you the time and space to really think about where you are at in your life and to speak freely about your aims in a setting that is calming, and without interruption. However, if it suits you better for us to come to your work or home that is not a problem.
Wardrobe analysis is usually carried out in your home.
